Kiwi Seed Bread Loaf - A perfect blend

Seeded Bread Loaf

 1½ tsp Surebake yeast

475g high-grade flour

1½ tsp sugar

25g butter or vegetable oil

1¼ tsp salt

340ml water

1½ tbsp linseeds

1½ tbsp sesame seeds

1½ tbsp pumpkin seeds

1½ tbsp kiwifruit seeds

1½ tbsp sunflower seeds

 

Put the first six ingredients in the breadmaker. Put the seeds in the fruit/nut dispenser. Select “Basic Bake/Raisin” and set the baking delay timer if using it. Press start.

 If the breadmaker does not have a fruit/nut dispenser, add the seeds to the bread pan when it beeps to tell you it is ready for extra ingredients to be added. If the breadmaker does not have a “Raisin” or equivalent setting, add them with the remainder of the ingredients and select the “Basic Bake” setting.

 Note that quantities of yeast, sugar and water may need to be adjusted to suit the characteristics of your breadmaker and yeast. The best combination will be found with experience.
