TECT Rescue Helicopter Support

We are proud to continue our support of the TECT Rescue Helicopter. The Tauranga-based rescue helicopter is a dedicated 24 hour, 7 day a week air ambulance. Based at Tauranga Hospital, the service provides inter-hospital transport for critically ill or injured patients for specialist medical care.  The majority of calls to the Tauranga base are for accidents involving motor vehicles, as well as aviation accidents, incidents on farms, and those related to recreational pursuits.  The service also works with the Police on armed offender callouts and responds to both marine and land, or air and search rescue.
